The Brief: To create an illustration featuring animal collective nouns and lettering for a writing/editing business to give her clients for the 2020 holiday season.
Role: Text as provided by the client; illustrator and lettering artist responsible for concept, design, and implementation of all lettering and illustration.
Tools Used: Procreate app, iPad Pro, Apple pencil.
A writing and editing business reached out to me to create a cute image for her to mail out to her clients as a thank you. Since her business is type-based, we opted to create a cute wintery image of animals with their collective nouns, along with a wish for good cheer. Several layout options were explored, finally settling on the one that featured the type and lettering the most to highlight her business. Final product was provided to clients to thank them for their patronage.
