The Brief: To create an illustration incorporating beans and their health benefits in the size and format for the They Draw & Cook website and publications for their Beans Around the World contest with the US Dry Beans Council.

Role: Graphic designer and illustrator responsible for concept, design, and implementation of all lettering and illustration.

Tools Used: Procreate app, iPad Pro, Apple pencil.

For World Pulses Day for February 2020, The They Draw & Cook website group and the US Dry Beans Council put together a contest challenge to create an illustration incorporating beans and their health benefits. I decided to create an illustrated infographic using a political campaign election, so the beans are candidates for a healthy body. A very fun way to do some bold lettering while creating a fun food infographic. This was all created digitally on an iPad on Procreate using an Apple pencil.
