Noodoo Beverage Can Illustration and Packaging Design

Three beverage can packaging designs, each featuring a funky fruit character holding fruit on their tongue and dripping juice. These characters were made as part of a branding project for Noodoo, a nootropic non-alcoholic beverage with fruit flavors.

The Brief: To create a psychedelic funky design for three flavors of a nootropic non-alcoholic beverage can packaging design

Role: Illustrator responsible for concept, design, and implementation of all lettering and illustration.

Fun and funky fruit characters hold center stage in this drink can packaging illustration design! Created as part of a brief from Rhythm Studio and Inky Goodness for a packaging design course, these psychedelic fruits announce the trippy and enjoyable flavors of this non-alcoholic herbal supplemental beverage. The brand logo and colors were provided, and I developed the three fruit characters, additional colors to highlight each flavor, and created beverage packaging illustrations that could have broad shelf appeal to the target audience, provide a provocative beverage can design, and be used as stand-alone merchandise for the brand.

Initial sketches for four different possibilities for the three flavors of drink can illustrations. Each packaging design concept considered the central fruit character and focus, and added psychedelic elements from 70s music culture, as per the client brief.
