The Brief: To create an illustration highlighting farmer’s markets

Role: Graphic designer and illustrator responsible for concept, design, and implementation of all lettering and illustration.

Tools Used: Procreate app, iPad Pro, Apple pencil.

As part of my summer inspiration, and in partnership with the They Draw and Cook Play Along challenge, I created an illustration highlighting farmers markets with some strong lettering, cute food, and food puns to remind people to shop local and enjoy the fresh produce harvests of the summer season. This series is perfect for editorial uses because of a strong title area and artwork that can be broken out for spot art throughout an article. This was all created digitally on an iPad on Procreate using an Apple pencil.
