A collaboration with another freelance professional, this food infographic series combined hand-lettering skills of Jennifer Hines with beautiful food photography of Liesel Bockl.

The Brief: To create hand-drawn lettering on food photography to communicate food trends in infographic form.

Role: Collaboration with Liesel Bockl, food photographer, I helped to select food trends, write copy, illustrated all the lettering, and designed and created the full infographic one-pager.

Tools Used: Procreate app, iPad Pro, Apple pencil.

Creating hand-drawn lettering on top of photography is one of my favorite ways to showcase my skills, so when this collaborative infographic project emerged with food photography Liesel Bockl, I was very excited to participate. She and I developed food trends for the 2021-2022 year post-Covid, and selected photos and topics to convey the messages for food businesses to use for their project research. I was responsible for all the hand-lettering on Liesel’s photos, and in the end combined them all into a one-pager infographic for people to download. You can download the full infographic here.

About the Project:

This series contains some food trends according to the top trend agencies that help to provide a snapshot of our evolving eating habits post Covid-19. Although challenging, with this shift comes opportunity. We are seeing many food brands and organizations responding to our new priorities with exciting services, innovative products and new digital solutions.
