This fun cookie decorating kit has illustrated tutorial instructions and a fun sticker to seal the package, a product from Plume Desserts.
The Brief: To illustrate packaging and products, including 4 cookie decorating kits and Christmas cookie cards, for the Plume Desserts spring and holiday 2020 product line.
Role: Illustrator and lettering artist responsible for concept, design, and implementation of all lettering and illustration. Direction given by client to suit client needs/brand.
Tools Used: Procreate app, iPad Pro, Apple pencil.
Plume Desserts is a small bespoke dessert company specializing in sweet treats, especially cookies. As part of their spring 2020 and holiday 2020 product line, I created illustrations for the packaging and tutorials for their products.

In spring 2020, Plume needed packaging stickers and illustrated cookie decorating tutorials for two cookie decorating kits in their product line: Rabbit Face & Pink Flower, and Rabbit Ears & Blue Flower. For these, I illustrated each of the cookies and the decorating stages, created a fun lay out for a 2 page tutorial to include all the steps to decorate the cookies in the kit, and created matching stickers to put on the packages to seal the boxes and advertise the product.

For the holiday 2020, Plume had new Christmas cookie bauble decorating kits and again needed illustrated cookie decorating tutorials and stickers for the packaging. These we did a slightly different layout to suit the festive holiday spirit.

In addition to the Christmas cookie bauble kits, Plume also created some fun cookie cards that could be given to friends or used as stocking stuffers that needed a fun backing saying “Merry Christmas”. These had an illustrated card that I created with fun decorated gingerbread cookies attached to the front. Yum!
