The Brief: To create food geometry inspired illustration in the size and format for the They Draw & Cook website and publications.

Role: Graphic designer and illustrator responsible for concept, design, and implementation of all lettering and illustration.

Tools Used: Procreate app, iPad Pro, Apple pencil.

They Draw & Cook put forth a challenge in 2019 to draw a food-based illustration that incorporated food geometry. I immediately thought of the various knife cuts, such as dice, baton, julienne, etc. I had a lot of fun creating a pattern-like image that repeated the shapes of various diced and cut up vegetables, and incorporated lettering. This was all created digitally using an Apple pencil.
