The Brief: Self-motivated to illustrated some holiday treats!

Role: Graphic designer and illustrator responsible for concept, design, and implementation of all lettering and illustration.

Tools Used: Procreate app, iPad Pro, Apple pencil.

Being new to the UK, I had never heard of potted cheeses, which are these lovely cheeses that come in little ceramic crocks (which I plan to put plants in this spring!). I couldn’t resist, so bought a Welsh Rarebit and Stilton, along with the beverages that go along with them. I took a picture of the actual treats, then used that as a guide to start the drawing, but ended up designing it differently than the originals. A fun way to commemorate some tasty treats and traditions for the holiday season. This was all created digitally using my iPad and the Procreate app with an Apple pencil.
