The Brief: To create a custom illustration featuring 2 lizards on a Spam can with lettering as a wedding gift for a client.
Role: Idea and text provided by the client; illustrator and lettering artist responsible for concept, design, and implementation of all lettering and illustration.
Tools Used: Procreate app, iPad Pro, Apple pencil.
I was so excited to help this client commemorate her wedding and create a unique and custom illustrated gift for her husband-to-be. The client asked me to create this personal illustration depicting two lizards on a Spam can to be the manifestation of an inside joke between the couple. We added a banner with the wedding date, and leis to add that Hawaiian touch since the wedding was to take place on the island. The client was super pleased with the project, and it’s one of my favorite pieces!
