The Brief: To create an illustrated restaurant logo, and an illustrated menu with food illustration icons and hand-drawn lettering

Role: Illustrator and lettering artist responsible for concept, design, and implementation of all lettering and illustration, as well as design of all branding elements shown.

Tools Used: Procreate app, iPad Pro, Apple pencil for illustration, Photoshop and Illustrator for graphic design.

Fill Yer Belly Restaurant is a restaurant that is a fun and punny concept and required hand-drawn elements to heighten the fun and customer experience. For this food branding project I created a hand-drawn restaurant logo, and extended the restaurant branding to the menu design and menu illustrations. I created illustrated menu section artwork for each of the 7 sections in black and white to give some fun to each portion of the menu. I added food lettering that was hand-drawn and fun in style to denote the menu headings, and hand-drew the dish names to give the menu a playful feel. Lastly, the background was created with brand colors in wavy sections to help the menu headings stand out and help with customer readability. This restaurant branding project was super fun and I’d love to work on more.
